Where Is Harry Styles's New Hair?
On Friday, teen heartthrob, GQ most stylish man, and resident young hair god Harry Styles cut off his shoulder-length locks. We didn't know how it was done (other than with scissors, duh), we didn't know why; all we knew was there was a fist holding a ponytail that was, presumably, attached to Harry's head earlier in the day.
But Friday came and went without so much as a blurry-through-the-bushes paparazzi shot of Styles's new hair. What did it look like? Did he go high and tight? Did he try a swervy undercut? Did he opt for a Bieber-endorsed buzz cut?
But on early Saturday morning, the world finally got to see the new ’do—or so we all thought. Thanks to an extremely well-done face swap, what folks thought was one damn handsome-looking Harry sporting a short crop of wavy hair was actually just the work of a tatted-up teenager from Yorkshire, England, named Ellis Lacy.

Pretty convincing, right? Turns out Lacy also once auditioned for X-Factor, the show that, incidentally, made One Direction a thing in the first place. Now the kid is probably on the run from every passionate 1D fan he wronged—and there are a lot of them. As for us? We're still hitting refresh on our Google News alerts in hopes of scoping out the singer's new mane. WHERE IS THE NEW HAIR, HARRY?
