Grooming master John Allan is aiming to take things a step further with renovations and annual memberships to his 7 clubs (four in NYC, and one each in San Fran, Beverly Hills, and Toronto) that offer unlimited access to haircuts, manicures, shoe shines, hot towel service, and shampoo/conditioning treatments for $850 to $950 a year. A la carte grooming for walk ins includes all that plus facials, pedicures, hair coloring, shaves and waxing. As if that weren't enough to pique your interest, billiard tables, free bar service, and flat screens round out the deal. Call us lazy, but the idea of showing up as you please and never having to pull out your credit card is just better. (Like Uber, that other 18 billion dollar business.)
