The 6 Best Famous-Guy Grooming Moves of the Week
Welcome to another edition Grooming Gods; a weekly recap of best men's grooming highs (and sometimes lows) courtesy of our favorite stylish gentleman across the globe. The lesson this week? It's summer, so you might as well let your freak flag fly.
Jaden Smith's Burgundy Hair ColorXactpiX/ Splash News
When Jaden Smith cut off his dreads before this year's Met Gala, a huge hole was left in our grooming vertical hearts. Thankfully, the king of cool teens hasn't lot interest in experimental hair completely—earlier this week he was photographed rocking a deep red color instead of his usual blonde. It's not our favorite look of all time but, hey, we'll take what we can get.

We don't tend to consider ourselves pro faux-hawk but there's something about Sam Worthington's masculine look and DGAF beard game that makes the hairstyle highly likable here. Then again, a simple buzz-cut wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Ken might rocking a man bun and nerd glasses these days, but Finn Wittrock is keeping the old trope alive with his tan skin, perfectly groomed eyebrows, and sculpted haircut. Given how many guys Wittrock's age are rocking fades right now, this traditional men's grooming look feels sort of fresh again. Plus, hey, moms love it.

Is Drake's wild, grown-out fade trying to tell us that new, really dope music is on the way? Is Sad Drake back? Unclear. But we will say that every man, woman, and child has a constitutional right to care less about their hair during the month of July when it is truly too hot to think straight and the sun is up for approximately 20 hours. Drake included.

Speaking of relentless heat, this week at Comic-Con Channing Tatum demonstrated one crucial advantage of embracing the summer buzz-cut: looking extra chill—and staying extra cool—in a suit. If things get really sweaty, you can even go to the restroom and dunk your head in the sink. A guy with a perfectly constructed fade just can't do that.

Most of the time a hat is a stylish accessory, nothing more. When you have Neymar's enviable but unruly hair texture though, and you're spending a marathon day at the beach with your bros, it counts as a grooming move. When you're in a similar situation, stop the sun from bleaching and drying out your strands and put a hat on.
