I’m going to be in a calendar!

I left out a little detail when I said I was going to visit Coy Pink in April. What I didn’t mention (didn’t want to jinx it) is that we planned on taking photos to submit to the NYC Sex Blogger Calendar. What happened is that her talented hubby took looks of photos, was very patient, but in the end I wasn’t happy with how *I* looked in them, and the one I could be happy with showed my face – full-on, no distorted angles, it’s me.

It was then that I freaked out and thought “I can’t do this….I can’t be Ms March (or whatever month) and show my face and be….”out there”!” And so even though I showed it to Tess & Diva, I said I didn’t want to be in it, I didn’t want to be a calendar model.

So then how am I in this list of names of amazing, beautiful people (and Nina fuckin Hartley?!?)?

In a moment of insanity on both parts, an idea was suggested and I said “ok” with minutes to decide. I’d be lying if I said I’m 100% “ok” with it…..but I think that the “Visions of Sexual Freedom” is a a good angle, especially as a sex blogger. I take a lot of sexual freedom liberties for granted just by being a sex blogger!

You’ll only get to see this photo of Coy and I though if you buy the calendar! It won’t be posted anywhere online and I’m undecided about finding an online-public-friendly outtake to show. Being in a printed calendar is trepidation enough for now.
