Beards are great. That is, unless your 100-year-old grandmother, who’s set in her ways as 100-year-olds are wont to be, thinks you look like a dirty mountain hippie with one. Which is why two years ago, this man promised his grandma he’d shave off his then-two-year-old beard on the day of her centennial. And the day finally came, and look at her face! Just goes to show that you shouldn’t let your cool (or is it uncool?) facial hair get in the way of making your elders proud. The only way we could make our grandmas that proud is by, I dunno, finding a nice girl to settle down with, or "putting in an honest day’s work for once." C’mon, grandma, would ya cut us some slack??
