The Summer Haircut That’s Ready for Anything
At this point, you’ve lightened up your clothes, your footwear (so long, socks), and your grooming routine to contend with summer's heat. But what about your hair?
When it comes to keeping your head cool in this season's warmer temperatures, few things beat the rather direct approach of the buzz cut, like the one Dave Franco sported Monday night at the New York premiere of his new film, Now You See Me 2. After all, few things are more cooling than catching a breeze with your nearly bare scalp. And because the cut has militaristic underpinnings, it'll work with a pretty wide range of looks: If the Marines can rock a buzz cut in both running gear and their dress blues, so can civilians.
And that's exactly what Franco proved last night. While we've seen the actor sport this cut without a jacket and tie, it's hard to deny that it works just as well with a suit (albeit one in a subtle camouflage print). It helps take some of the edge off the sharp tailoring here, and makes a suit look like a comfortable clothing option for the dog days of summer.
