Stefon Diggs is a fly guy. Charismatic, with the easy charm that allows him to float between some of the the coldest, snowiest games in the NFL and buzzy Paris fashion shows, the wideout has been steadily making a name for himself with impeccable fits, polished down to his favorite Goyard toiletry bag.

In Diggs’ world, good grooming and self-care are one in the same. “I feel like it’s a direct correlation—it translates into how you look at yourself, how you appreciate yourself.” (You may have first learned that he treats his body as a temple, location be damned, after seeing the Buffalo Bills wide receiver flossing mid-game back in 2021.)

Diggs likes to speak with his hands, and those tatted digits are pristine. When he was a kid, Diggs remembers keeping his “bigger than average” nine-year-old palms hidden in his pockets out of embarrassment. “As I got older I said, man, if I’m going to have these big hands they have to at least look nice.” Now, he regularly gets his nails done with a simple manicure. (“It depends on what state I’m in, my nail tech either comes to my house or I’ll go to the salon,” he says.) To keep everything moisturized and clean on the go, he applies Aveeno and keeps a Touchland hand sanitizer mist on him.

To keep his signature goatee sharp, Diggs’s barber touches him up with the King C. Gillette trimmer. And when it comes to the rest of his face, he keeps a fairly simple skincare routine, at least in the morning. “I start off with Aveeno face pads to get off all the dead skin while I’m in the shower, then I’ll use my cleanser after.” Since he does most of his more involved skin maintenance in the evening, once he’s done washing up–usually with Dove body wash– he’ll step out and apply a hydrating face cream, usually alternating between Aveeno and Givenchy’s Le Soin Noir .

Unsurprisingly, Diggs smells good–like really good. Scent has always played an important part in Diggs’ grooming routine from a young age. Growing up, his mother would tell him to grab one of her “smell-goods” when getting ready in the morning. “Which one do you want? There’s like 19 of them? So I’d be like, alright, this is obviously something for when I get older.” Fast forward and the 29-year-old refuses to step outside if he hasn’t layered on his signature scent. “I spray in the main spots–upper neck, my shoulders, underneath the arms.” 

These days, a whiff of Diggs smells like Givenchy’s new Gentlemen Society fragrance—he's  a paid ambassador, a “face," in the industry slang. With notes of vetiver, vanilla and juniper berries, the scent profile is sensual yet fresh. A sophisticated type you’d want to layer on to make a good impression before hitting the city for a night out. “Now, I'm just finding deeper meanings and aligning myself," he says. "Not only for my hygiene in my everyday life–how I look and smell—but how it translates into being the man I want to be.”
