Today's did-you-see-it Instagram moment belonged to none other than Justin Bieber, who took to the app to show off his freshly braided blond cornrows. In the photo posted to his feed, he's posed between Hailey Baldwin, his current and very public romantic interest, and an unknown woman (perhaps she'll be the voice of reason?). Both Hailey and Justin point to their braided hair in adorable coupled unison.

So, like a good boyfriend, Bieber is willing to try new things. And as a style-conscious individual, he knows that cornrows don't look good on him. Honestly, when has this hairstyle ever worked for a white guy? Kevin Federline, Riff Raff, Justin Timberlake, David Beckham, Jared Leto, and James Franco couldn't make it cool. If David Beckham (read: hair god) can't make this work, then no other blond man can. Which is why the best thing about Bieber's new ’do are his plans to get rid of it.
