Ten Things We Learned by Analyzing Global Leadership Hair Color

Jody Sieradzki, vice president of content at Dadaviz, took it upon herself to map the world by hair color of each nation’s leader—a daunting and perhaps meaningless task, to be sure. But to us, anything about grooming is interesting, so we brushed up on our geography and took a look. After hours of research and contemplation, we’ve made some conclusions about hair and this little rock we call Earth.
Sieradzki’s classification aside, let’s be honest. Most world leaders have gray hair. With the exception of a few young guns over in East Asia (Kim Jong Un, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the Dragon King of Bhutan), if they’re not already full-on silver fos, they are salt-and-pepper or kidding themselves with that dye job.
There is only one country in the southern hemisphere that has a blond-headed head of state: Chile. The president down there on the left side of South America is Michelle Bachelet. Chile seems like a chill place, so we assume that this proves the archaic saying "blondes have more fun" applies to the government as well. Fun fun fun in Chile.
Based on 2013 statistics, people with black hair control most of our planet’s population. This means we should be nice to people with black hair because chances are, they will some day control us. Just look at Chinese president Xi Jinxing! Black hair, a population approaching 1.4 billion people. Wow.
Countries that start with "I" and end in "land" have exclusively strawberry blonde leadership. This is extremely rare and if you live in any of these countries consider yourself fortunate. Luck of the Iceland-ish, you might say. Also Ireland.
There is an extremely high concentration of bald leaders in Africa.
Apparently not everybody in Sweden is blonde. Hmmm.
The lion’s share of the G20 nations have black-haired leaders. Remember, you cannot escape people with black hair. They are powerful and important.
There’s only one member of the G20 who is bald. Don’t despair, South Africa! It’s our differences that bind us together. Shine on.
When you survey the nations with the top 20 GDP numbers (again, based on 2013 data), you find that yet again, people with black hair are in charge. Though the nation with the highest GDP (USA USA USA) is presided over by a salt-and-pepper-haired president, the combined wealth of six black hair-led countries surpasses us.
Antarctica is presumably ruled by a benevolent penguin king.
