Drake's Tattoos of Women May Soon Include Celine Dion

According to a recent analysis on The Ringer, Drake has 25 tattoos. And of all Drake's tattoos, three (that we know of) are homages to female singers—Aaliyah, Rihanna, and "By Your Side" legend Sade. It looks like he might be adding one more female pop star tattoo to the mix. Last night, while backstage at the Billboard Music Awards, he told Celine Dion that he is "about a year away" from getting her image inked onto his body forever.

If one of Drake's tattoos does in fact one day depict Celine Dion, it wouldn't be as random as you might think. For one, Celine Dion, like Drake, is from Canada a.k.a. "Nice America." And like Drake, Dion is at the top of her game right now, considering she crushed her Met Gala outfit, turns up everywhere in daring looks we rarely see from an mega star anymore, and oh, yeah, she's one of the best-selling singers—ever. Dion even broke the Internet when last year she wore the sold-out-everywhere Vetements Titanic hoodie, causing a meta fashion moment that was both savvy and actually on-trend. (Dion famously supplied the epic theme song, "My Heart Will Go On" for Titanic back in 1997, and she brought the house down at the BMAs last night performing it on its 20th anniversary. Being the emo guy Drake is, we'll assume he was moved by the performance—which is more than enough of a reason to want to capture it in permanent ink.)

Where Drake will find real estate on his body for the tattoo is a mystery, though he did offer up one clue when he pointed to a rather large part of his ribcage while telling Celine Dion about his inked-up aspirations. For most men that would mean we would almost never get to see the tattoo, but this is Drake, who is more than comfortable taking his shirt off. We're hoping this tattoo actually happens, so Drake's body can continue being a mantle to pop music's biggest females. It'll only make moms love him more than they already do.
