Brad Pitt Looks Years Younger With a Short Haircut. Here's How You Can, Too

Brad Pitt is likely feeling the effects of phantom man bun syndrome this week. After years of watching his trademark coiffure grow past his shoulders and into a low loop, Pitt cleaned up his act in one fell snip for his role in World War II flick Fury, which he’s currently filming in London. (Old habits die hard—the goatee is still intact.)
Our first reaction? Dude looks years younger—he’s 49— almost pre-Angelina. And the experts agree. "This style always works well for Brad and makes him look a lot younger than he actually is," says Greg Ruggeri, owner of Salon Ruggeri in New York City. "It’s very similar to the cut he had in Inglourious Basterds."
Here’s how to recreate the look:
Ruggeri says to leave an inch or two of hair at the crown, with three to four inches in front. The sides should be kept short—ask the barber to use a number one around the hairline and fade up to a four. To style, apply a penny-sized amount of pomade to damp locks (try Evo Crop Strutters Construction Cream, or if you’ve got super-thick strands, Evo Box O’ Bollox Life Changing Paste) then use a vent brush to smooth strands back into place. Let hair dry with product in it before raking your fingers through to soften and break pieces up.
