Brooklyn Beckham's Hair Has Gone to the Dark Side
Brooklyn Beckham has rightly been experimenting with his style since he moved off to New York for college earlier this year. The 18-year-old is now the proud owner of at least seven new tattoos and some seriously good vintage denim. In addition to that he's been messing around with his hair quite a bit. This year he's tried out the Hugh Grant flop, the Johnny Depp wet look, and the 2017 fashion buzz-cut (which is just a buzz-cut worn with really, really good jackets). Now, at the close of 2017, he's added another hairstyle to the list: the goth-god chop. Messy, short, and dyed jet black the look has been made famous by rebels like Sid Vicious, Billie Joe Armstrong, and Justin Theroux which is to say, it is definitely not "meet the parents" approved. Funny that Beckham chose this look right when he reunited with his ex, actress Chloe Grace Moretz. What better time to lean into an edgier look than when your dating life takes a turn for the domestic?

For our part, we're in support of guys dyeing their hair to change up their look now and again. Especially when they're young, wild, and not at all stressed about the state of their 401Ks. Brooklyn Beckham, Frank Ocean, and Lucky Blue Smith are all examples of daring dye jobs done right. Miles Teller? Not so much. The good thing is, no matter how iffy your references or drunk your stylist, at the end of the day it's just hair. Shave it off and start over if it doesn't turn out quite how you wanted it to. As Brooklyn Beckham has demonstrated this year, it's really as simple as that.
