Aside from a trip to the Caribbean and eating well, I would prescribe a scalp conditioner. I'm a nut for Weleda products (co-founded by Rudolf Steiner, father of biodynamics), and they make a Rosemary Hair Oil that will probably fix you up; or, if not, at least make you smell appetizing. I'm also a fan of Bragg Organic Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar. Mix it with water fifty-fifty and rinse your hair with it after you shampoo. The funky, fungoid-looking stuff contains enzymes that will treat your scalp and give your hair nice texture. I even soak my feet in it when they're dry and flaky. It also makes a hell of a vinaigrette. (Just don't use the batch you soaked your feet in.) I'm told that KeraCare Dry & Itchy Scalp Moisturizing Conditioner is also good stuff (available at Target). And a nice glass of biodynamic Pinot Noir can't hurt. If these don't work, see a dermatologist.
