Charlie Hunnam Has Regular-Guy Workout Style Nailed
Former Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam, whose new movie King Arthur: Legend of the Sword comes out in May, went for a hike in Los Angeles on Monday. Unlike Zayn Malik and his perplexing mismatched shoes, or Justin Bieber and his double rainbow camo, or half of the regulars power-hiking West Hollywood's Runyon Canyon on any given weekday, his outfit was unequivocally NBD.

Navy joggers, a gray sweatshirt, and some classic, nothing-to-write-home-about accessories were the 36-year-old actor's choice of outdoor workout gear. His headphones weren't even wireless! The wires were just tucked into his sweatshirt the old-fashioned way.
But here's the thing: While on paper that all sounds boring AF, in person it was a great-looking way to break a sweat. As with the basic but also on-point lifting gear Jonah Hill wore to the gym last week, there's just no shame in sticking with classics when all you're trying to do is get your workout on. Especially when you aren't exactly known for your ability to skillfully maneuver athleisure trends and hyped streetwear releases like a pro. Sometimes it's better to bow out completely rather than to be the last guy standing in line for Yeezys. (Also, logo-emblazoned clothes tend to cost more money.)
To that end, here's your regular-guy spring outdoor-workout kit. Don't let the kids in mismatched shoes and camo compression tights get you down. You're still cool—at least in our eyes.
