Take Note: These Nine Swole Bros Nailed the Group Costume
You know, historically, nine Spartan soldiers showing up outside the home of an unwed maiden has not been a good sign. But symbolism be damned, a groom named Zachary Lee and his eight groomsmen bros participated in a tradition called "gate-crashing"—that is, traveling as a posse to the bride's house to pick her up on the morning of the wedding—dressed in 300-style Grecian battle gear. A photo of the aforementioned hijinks caused some giggly kerfuffle when it turned up on Facebook and Instagram this week and soon snowballed across the Internet.

While there are, again, some problems with the imagery here, one must extend props to these nine bros in Singapore, who told the Straits Times they "often exercise together," for pulling off a truly inspired Group Costume. "Hmm, we are nine super-swole dudes attending an event in costume..." is a brainstorm prompt that all too often ends lamely in "...so let's go as five Coach Taylors, P90X Paul Ryan, the Dick in a Box guys, and 'one night stand.' Great, well done team." But this group managed to show off some collective cleverness and publicly flex what ninety thousand side planks hath wrought. Take note, friends. Halloween is only four and a half months away; you still have time to get a gym membership lock down some swords and skirts and do a few crunches.
Of course, the other half of the gate-crashing tradition involves the bridesmaids subjecting the groomsmen to "a series of humiliating games" when they arrive at the bride's home, according to Mashable. As of press time, it was unknown what sort of spectacle awaited these guys—but I hope it involved singing, ballet gear, or lipstick, and I hope one day this all gets adapted into a Zac Efron movie.
