The Rock Even Excels at Growing Facial Hair
Human superhero, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, shines at pretty much everything he does. Acting? The guy is box office gold. Wrestling?I think you've smelled what his cooking. Working out? He's peak swole. He's aging in reverse, he can charm the pants off of anyone he meets, hell, he's even good at designing gym bags. Oh, and making Instagram videos. And covering up ill-conceived tattoos. He is just the king (and maybe the future POTUS, but that's a whole other story). Today he checked "grow an in-between-projects beard" off his bucket list (The Rock loves bucket lists) and man, did he knock it out of the park.
Johnson is known for his action hero-like appearance; huge muscles, flawless skin, zero hair. Seeing him with a scruffy, salt-and-pepper beard makes him seem somehow more human. It also makes him seem more 45, which we mean in the nicest possible way. Johnson normally looks freakishly young for his age. At any rate, as much as we're here for this excellent display of facial hair, we doubt it'll here for us for very long. Johnson has a half-dozen movie projects in the works, another season of Ballers to film, and god knows what other extremely likable stunts up his fitted sleeves. Still, we're glad we got to see his version of DGAF summer grooming. It sets the bar pretty high.
